Tarte Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Airbrush Foundation

Everyone loves natural beauty products. I bought the Amazonian clay full coverage airbrush foundation recently, and I cant wait to share my using experience with you.

Tarte is a cosmetic brand that promises all of their products are made without parabens, mineral oil, phthaletes, triclosan, sodium lauryl sulfate and gluten. I was attracted by the brand because of the cute wood package. Almost all of their products are covered in a cute little wood package with purple color.

This is how the power looks like. My skin is combination. Sometimes the T zone is too dry, I could not even apply any power on my face, so I usually use liqueur foundation. But I hate the feeling when apply foundation on my face. This is the first power that perfectly matches with my skin. The product stays on my face all day.

This is the package of the power. I love the image on the cover. It reminds me of the summer leaf.

I also bought the bamboo brush.

The power is very great coverage and long-lasting. It is very light. My skin feels burning when apply power in summer. This foundation just feels comfortable.

Shu Uemura Laque Supreme Or.01

Hi, today I'm going to share my review and swatch for Shu Uemura Laque Surpreme Or 01. This is the newest product of Shu Uemura launched last month. Many of the shades are now out of stock. The designers got their inspiration from Japanese lacquerware. They hope the lip gloss can produce a shade that looks as beautiful and shiny as Japanese lacquerware which I would say they really make it. According to the official website of Shue Uemura, they use special formula for this product which is called "Shu red complex" that can provide deep color intensity. This product reminds me of the Glossy Stain of YSL. It produces a texture on your lip to keep the gloss long-lasting and shiny. 

I bought Or 01. It is a beautiful orange. The official website of Shu Uemura stated the color of Or.01 "sunshine orange". One thing I found about this product line is it looks so different when you wear different amount of the lip gloss. It is a vet light, not sticky at all gloss that satisfies my request for long-lasting and pigmented. The color can keep 4-6 hours which is really long. The texture it produces will also help moisture your lips. The only shortage is the taste of the product is so horrible and the smell is not pleasurable.

This is my swatch. I wear a very little amount on my lip because it looks more natural. If you love red lips, wear more!

Dior Rouge Baume No.558 Lili

In this post, I'm going to share my swatch of Dior Rouge Baume shade 558 Lili. I bought it one month ago. The Rouge Baume is the new product line of Dior cosmetics despite the news that the brand is going to launch a new lip gloss product line.

The Rouge Baume keeps the beautiful fashionable dark blue package. The official description of this product is "a lip balm with couture color", which tells the audiences that if you are looking for a pigmented lipstick, it might disappoint you. Here I would say I don't think pigmenting is a problem for this product. Comparing to the Coco shine of Chanel, Rouge Baume has done what it could do. However, I really want to point out a shortage of this product line. For some reason, the lipstick itself does not perfectly match with the tube. It is possible to break in the tube if you push it too hard. I used to have a 488 prime rose. The poor lipstick broke itself because it starts turning around in the tube and I found it broken last month. Treating it well! This is a princess! But I would say that it is a really nourishing lipstick. My lips get mostured and smoothed. If you are looking for a comfortable, pleasurable and normal-usage lipstick, Rouge Baume will satisfy you.

The 558 is a beautiful coral color on my lip. It lasts on my lip about 1-2 hours which is short, but regarding to the beautiful color and pleasure butter feeling, I recommend this lipstick to you.

Organix Shampoo Review

With a catchy and unique design, Organix has been making a bold appearance in stores from Walmart to Shoppers Drug Marts and more. Their natural ingredients, obtained from all over the world, are used for their focus of shampoos, with an additional hair and body products.  

The shampoos each serve a different purpose, some with oils such as macadamia oil and argan oil, to coconut milk and vitamin e and b5. 

A popular shampoo, often one seen in stores, is the argan oil of morocco. As the name says, the argan oil comes from Morocco, which is located north west in Africa. The argan nut is filled with vitamin E and antioxidants leaving hair soft and shiny while protecting it from the sun. Locals have used the ingredient for centuries. 

Another popular Organix shampoo is their coconut milk shampoo. Originated in the Philippines, this shampoo works to strengthen and hydrate your hair, as well as adding the perfect shine. Plus, who doesn't love the smell of coconuts? 

M.A.C Cosmetic lipstick Vegas Volt Review

M.A.C cosmetic is well-known for their professional makeup products. I bought a tones of lipsticks from the brand because the colors of the shades are always beautiful and attractive.
I bought this Vegas Volt long time ago. It is a beautiful coral color that fits very well with the spring. M.A.C divides lipsticks by their finish. Lipsticks are divided into 9 different categories, they are amplified, amplified creme, cremesheen, frost, glaze, lustre, matte, retro matte and satin.
Vegas Volt belongs to the amplified creme category. It is very creamy feels like butter when I tried it on my hand. The product is very pigmented, so be careful do not wear too much if you want yourself look casual. The only problem I found is it is a bit dry for me. It actually makes my lip lines seem deeper if I do not use lip balm. The product lasts very long, about 4-6 hours. I found it still on my lips even after dinner.

Say hello to whiter teeth!

Many people spend large amounts of money buying teeth whitening strips and whitening toothpaste, or even get it done professionally. But sometimes the best methods can be done in the comfort of your home!

 First combine 2 teaspoons of hydrogen peroxide(3%)* with 3 teaspoons of baking soda. Mix together until a paste forms. Place mixture onto toothbrush and proceed to brushing your teeth in small circles. Do this until teeth are covered then let the mixture sit on your teeth for 2 minutes.

 Next wash your mouth thoroughly with water and brush your teeth with toothpaste as you normally would. This is to ensure you get rid of any remaining hydrogen peroxide mixture.

 Doing this once a week can maintain results and give you a brighter smile!

Swatch and Review of YSL Rouge Pur Couture No.52

The YSL Rouge Pur Couture is the classic lip product line of the brand. In this blog, I will share my review of the No.52 shade Rosy Coral with you.
The shade used to be out of stock globally. I could not buy it until last year. Comparing the product line with other product lines, Rouge Pur Couture is drier but more pigmented. I find if you use primer or lip balm before you wear it, it will not dry your lips. The lipstick produces a smell like roses which please me a lot. Usually I do not like pigmented lipsticks because they are dry, but this product line does contain many beautiful shades that I cannot say "no" to them.
The No.52 is a bright pink color as the lipstick looks like. The product line is very pigmented. It is the the same color as the lipstick appears. It usually lasts more than 5 hours which is very long lasting. If you have one, remember to use lip product remover to remove it. I have very deep lip lines. The product fills into my lip lines which sometimes make it seem ugly. If you are having the same trouble with me, try to do exfoliation weekly and wear lip balms everyday before sleep.

Review of YOUNG BLOOD Cosmetics foundation

We all know how good natural and mineral cosmetics are for our skin, so let’s not waste time talking about what we already know.

I was recently introduced to YOUNG BLOOD Cosmetics, more so, YOUNG BLOOD LOOSE MINERAL FOUNDATION.

The product has various minerals, is easy to apply and does not clog pores. This is important especially if you have acne or other types of skin flaws. The best thing is that it covers completely the redness and other various skin imperfections. Does not makes your skin looking dry, but is creamy and smooth. It blends in with the skin color and type, adapts to your skin. I am very impressed. Whenever I wear mineral foundation, I usually concealer first then lightly apply the foundation on top…but I wanted to see what this stuff could really do on its own. The result? I didn’t have anything to conceal after!

Price: $42 USD for 0.35oz / 10g 
 Overall: An incredibly silky, luxurious mineral makeup. Buildable coverage with a completely flawless finish- I’m totally head over heels for it (besides the packaging)

Rouge Volpte Shine is the best-selling lip product of all the YSL lipstick product lines. The No 15 shade is called Extreme Coral. It produces a coral color on your lips. I love this product line because it is creamy and produces a butter-feeling on your lips and a fruity smell. This product line is very pigmented. If you are looking for a lipstick that is not dry, but also have a fair pigment, this is the one. However, for girls that are looking for pigmented lipsticks, this is still not a product for you. You can choose deep color shades in this product line as well, if you really love the product but want to get a balance between pigment and moisturizing.

The product does not last long. Usually after 3 hours, I have to refine my make-up. The amazing effect I found about this product is it can hydra your lips and cure them with their special formula. I find my dry lips get moisture after wearing it.

I didn't wear any primer before use it, so it appeared much pinker. If you wear a primer, it will be a bright peachy orange shade.

Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Volpute Shine # 25 Review

As an award-winning lip make-up product, YSL Rouge Volpute Shine satisfies all my requests for a dreaming lip product. I got my first YSL Rouge Volpute Shine in 2012, then I could not stop my love for the product line.

The brand uses gold for most of their lipstick packages with the YSL logo in the center. Rouge Volpute Shine is still using the same package as the Rouge Volpute does. The Rouge Volpute Shine is more moisturizing than the original Rouge Volpute.It produces very creamy, smooth feeling on my lips. It produces a fruity smell sometimes cure me after a long working day. Because my lips are dry, I usually prefer lip gloss products than lipsticks. This product changes my opinion toward lipsticks. The product hydrates your lips and makes it soft. It is also perfectly pigmented on my lip. The color it produces on your lip is exactly the same color you see the lipstick.

This is the YSL Rouge Volpute Shine No 25 on my lip. It is redder than it appears on the photo. 

The only thing I find could be a shortage of the product is the lasting. It lasts on my lips for about 2 hours. After eating or drinking, the color disappears.

Acne is the worst thing that can happen to a girl or a guy. It affects your confidence and looks. Constant break outs, pimples, whiteheads, blackheads and greasy skin are awful!!! Plus the scarring you get after destroys the firmness of skin and adds dull and red unhealthy look. I wanted to get rid of acne REALLY BADLY and I have tried everything!!!

The core of the problem was – MY REALLY POOR LIFESTYLE

• Poor nutrition
• Lack of exercises
• Lack of sleep
• A lot of stress

All those things messed up my hormones.

I am not a skin expert, these are simply the things that worked for me and I would love to share my experience with everyone.

How I treat my acne now:

1. To stabilize my hormone system I take birth control pills.
2. To prevent future breakout I use BenzaClin gel (doctor’s prescription).
3. To get rid of scars, redness, help my skin heal and look healthy I use all natural Hemp Oil.
4. I exercise! Trust me, it’s very important! That’s when it all actually started working and my acne started to disappear – only when I became active.
5. I avoid fast food, greasy food, and unhealthy food.
6. I have regular sleep.
7. I have taught myself no to stress out – I will not allow worry to take control over me.
8. Have patience. It will take you a while to get clear skin.

Is a miracle treatment that I have discovered for myself. I applythe oil on my face every night before bed. It really helps in getting rid of scars and red marks! The oil creates smooth of skin, increased stamina, speed healing, and calms your skin ($24.20 on Amazon)

Moreover, I apply hemp oil on my nails and they started growing better – my nails are stronger and longer.

Hemp Oil is a REAL DEAL and is worth to try.

My doctor prescribedBenzaClin gel for preventing acne and it works. But if I stop using it, the acne comes back L I am pretty scared to stop, so I went back and got another prescription for it, so I’m on my second bottle.

However, all these things started really working after I started exercising! It’s true. I started going to the gym, I do a lot of skiing and being active really helped my metabolism and improved my sleeping habits and as a result reduces acne.

How to get soft lips...naturally!

• Exfoliate your lips at least twice a week. Dab a finger in water, then in sugar and exfoliate your lips by rubbing the sugar on them. Wipe the sugar off your lips and apply a lip balm.

• Apply lip balm in the night before sleeping and leave overnight. Wake up to soft pink lips. Avoid lip balms with dyes and artificial ingredients. Always opt for those with natural ingredients.

Try Burt’s Bees Chap stick.

• Drink lots of water and take juices with vitamin C as dehydration can also cause lack of luster on lips. Water or juices hydrate the body, nourishes the skin and aids new cell growth. Dry lips are also one of the signs that the body is not getting properly hydrated.

• Eat fruits and vegetables that are red in color. For example, tomatoes and strawberries, as they help deposit the color in the skin, making lips pink.

• Lips tend to darken due to exposure to the sun. Use a balm with SPF 15. Make sure to wear lip protection when going outdoors. Many lipsticks and lip glosses contain SPF 15.

Yves Saint Laurent Volupte Tint-In-Oil No.1 and No.7 Review

Being a fan of YSL for years, I am very excited to post my first YSL product review, and the first article of the blog to share my review for the brand new product of YSL, the Volupte Tint-In-Oil. The new product line contains 8 shades for now. I purchased shade No.1 and shade No.7.

 

The product is very similar with the YSL Gloss Volpute from both the package and the brush.

My lip is very dry with deep lines, so I would prefer nourishing lip products rather than pigmented lip products. The product, as its name “oil”, is oil fluid. Unlike many of the other gloss products in the market, the Tint-In- Oil is not sticky at all.

 

This is the No.7 shade on my lip.



This is the No.1 shade on my lip. It contains very tiny sparkles which make you look energetic.

The products are very smooth and producing comfortable and lightweight feelings on my lips. It keeps my lips soft and moisture for a long time. The product also produces a fruity smell as the other YSL lip products. It is very good for dry lips especially in winter. If you are looking for extra care for your lips, this is the right product for you. And the lip oil is very long lasting and it feels like a protection for your lips. I wear it the whole afternoon and it does not dry out on my lip.
I bought the No.7 and received No.1 as a gift from my friend. They look exactly the same on my lip which make me a little upset, but it is such a sweet gift. If you are considering purchasing one, try it before you make a decision. The product actually changes color after wearing it.I would suggest you wear it for 10 to 15 minutes to see how the color actually appears on your lip if you want to test the product. And you can also wipe off the oil after 10 minutes to see the color left on your lip. (The No.7 shade is actually a pink color after swiping it.)

Some of the shades ( the No.1 is just an example) are too light to produce colors on lips. The whole product line are full of light shades. If your lip color is a bit deep, I suggest you try it on your lip before actually purchase it. If you prefer deep colors or pigmented products, this product line might not be your type.
